Brett sat in his first kart aged 6 at the home of his Grandad Ken and his Uncle Darren Masters
Darren was in a good position to take Brett to Whilton Mill racetrack and let him have a go, he was a natural from the first lap and did not worry about the speed. Then he started racing when he was eight as a novice and straight away took all six novice tropheys. His first year Brett was in the WTP class and won the Whilton Mill Championship; he has since won the Whilton Mill Championship four years in a row, 3 of them in W60 Class. He also won the Rissington Club Championship and Midland Championship.
Driving Skills Brett has lots of passion but always keeps nice and calm in a race. He always likes racing on a full grid as he says it makes him concentrate more. He gets on well with his fellow competitors. Brett is looking forward to racing in 2008 in the Stars of Tomorrow and S1 meetings; he also cannot wait until he can have a go in a single seater race car. This is his ambition to race single seaters and then F1 like Lewis Hamilton
Activities Brett keeps very fit by playing football, and he’s always on his bike; soon he will start a gym program for fitness. He’s always out and about and loves playing on anything with an engine!
Awards He has won many trophies and drivers awards this year and so far has won the Stars of Tomorrow Cadet Championship and finished 3rd in the S1 Championship
